Emily has worked within the dental profession for over 15 years, having first started her career as a Dental Nurse she quickly developed a passion for Dentistry.
Emily qualified in 2010 with the Royal College of Surgeons at the prestigious Kings College Hospital in London obtaining 2 National Diplomas, in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy, and was awarded Best Overall Clinical Student in her year.
Early on, Emily went to train in Dental Radiology, assisting in Dental Implants and dealing with nervous and dental phobic patients. She qualified as a conscious sedation nurse in 2003. Emily has also worked for a local college as an NVQ Level 3 assessor helping trainee-dental nurses obtain their qualifications.
Emily is a truly caring person who treats patients in a gentle but thorough manner. She is passionate about providing patients with quality care in the treatment, prevention and management of periodontal (gum) disease and dental caries (decay) for both Adults and Children.
Emily is very family orientated and has a wealth of experience working with people with special needs, and with patients of all ages. Emily is currently undergoing training which will allow her to offer Tooth Whitening treatments to patients who have a dentist prescription.
