We would like to invite our colleagues to a special Refer & Restore event being held at EasySmile Ashford on Wednesday 19th September!

Restoring simple dental implant cases can be quick and rewarding and for most GDPs only minimal additional training and equipment is required to be able to offer this treatment to patients. EasySmile Dental Practice in association with Dentsply Sirona now offer GDPs an insightful and highly informative event ideal for those wanting to further their skills in implant restorations.

Attendees can expect to enjoy a relaxed learning environment that includes theory and practical elements with various opportunities throughout the evening to discuss any aspect of implant treatment including consulting with patients and discussing fees. We would like to invite our colleagues to a special Perio Evening being held at EasySmile Ashford on Wednesday 29th November!

Our guest speaker is Dr Omar Patel, Specialist in Periodontics & Consultant in Periodontology Guy’s Hospital, who will present a talk on “Management of Furcation Lesions” followed by a short “Perio Update” by our resident Dental Hygienist Therapist.

Attendees can expect to enjoy a relaxed environment and refreshments as well as 90 minutes of verifiable CPD with certificates being issued at the event.

We are pleased to welcome Omar Patel to the EasySmile Dental Practice team!

Omar is currently a Specialist Registrar in Periodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London, undertaking all aspects of periodontal therapy including surgical, non-surgical, muco-gingival and implant therapy

Omar is currently seeing Periodontal patients at our Ashford and Tenterden practices and he’s also currently a Specialist Registrar in Periodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London, undertaking all aspects of periodontal therapy including surgical, non-surgical, muco-gingival and implant therapy.

As well as providing periodontal care at EasySmile Dental Practice, he is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology and has a special interest in the association between periodontal disease and diabetes. In 2015, he received the Ron F. Wilson postgraduate research award from King’s College London for clinical research and has presented his research internationally.
